The title states that the name of the author is contained in the A B C, and most probably it is there in all the anagrams and puzzles in the book, but his name has not been discovered. A rare work on the significance of the letters of the alphabet - mystical, musical, historical and alchemical. The book is full of puzzles, anagrams, ciphers, codes etc., and it has been the subject of scholarly study particularly relating to Bach's music and whether he was influenced by this book.
