ABC THE PICTURE ALPHABET IN BRICKS.
London: W. Peacock, No date [circa 1870?]. A charming boxed set of wooden alphabet tiles; comprising of twenty-four wooden tiles each bearing a hand-coloured engraved pastedown of a letter of the alphabet, in upper and lower case together with a corresponding image on one side; one a single capital letter on the reverse side. Each tile measures: 60 x 48 mm. All contained in the original wooden box with a sliding pictorial. I & J, share one tile, as do and U & V. Some light water-staining to the backs; else a very set. Scarce.
