London: Edward Wallis, No date [Circa 1830]. A hand-coloured lithographed sheet cut into sixteen sections and mounted on linen; contained, when folded, in a cloth gilt slipcase together with 20 page book of rules and explanation. Unfolded: 20 x 6 inches. Covers of book restored at spine, lower blank corner of game worn; else a very good and clean copy One of the most attractive table games of the period and possibly the first to replace the conventional map with a pictorial representation of the counties. Whitehouse page 14.

Paris: Dondorf No. 314, No date [circa 1900]. Comprising 36 pictorial cards featuring scenes from Struwwelpeter, all contained in the original pictorial cardboards box. Small rub on the box lid; lacks the sheet of rules which is sometimes loose in the box and sometimes glued to the underside of the box lid. However, in this copy the rule sheet appears to have been glued the wrong way around. A very good copy nevertheless.

An engraved sheet divided into twelve and mounted on linen, bearing 18 hand-coloured engraved scenes of London, with printed rules to the central section. Unfolded: 485 x 605 mm. Contained, when folded, in a slipcase with mounted hand-coloured engraved title label to upper panel. Slight wear to folds and to slipcase; else a very good copy of a scarce game. Publd. May 1st 1825 by S. & J, Fuller [London]. An eight section (Including front and rear boards) peepshow, made from hand-coloured engraved scenes cut and shaped and separated by bellows, so as to form a perspective view of the park. Original slipcase with engraved label. Some minor repairs to the bellows and the case restored; else a very good example of an early issue.

London: G. & T. Wilkie… J. Bell, [1797 – 1800.]. Four volumes [of five], bound together as one. These volumes were issued annually, in a total of five volumes, the last[ not present] issued in 1801. Each has a title-page with an engraved vignette; the fourth volume has a folding plate entitled, 'Enigmatical Dinner.' Fairly recent half calf, gilt over marbled boards. 16 x 10 cm. Very slight fading of spine; folding plate worn at fold and repaired from the blank verso; else very good.

London: Thomas De La Rue & Co. Ltd, No date [circa 1900]. Four page rule card, plus 48 full-colour pictorial cards, all contained in the original cardboard slipcase with mounted pictorial label. Very slight wear to the box; else a fine set.

Bristol: Lewis Waterman, No date [circa 1890 -1900]. Compriing: Rule card, 12 illustrated cards after designs by Tenniel, and 28 printed ‘pool’ cards. Contained in the original box with pictorial label to the upper cover. Box restored, else a very set of a rare ‘Alice’ game. The rule card states, ‘By the special permission of Messrs. Macmillan and Co., Ltd., the author of this game has been allowed to make use of the illustrations in “Alice in Wonderland,” by Sir John Tenniel.

No imprint or date, but German, circa 1850: The toy comprises, a wooden stand with a hand-coloured lithographed backdrop and an integral lead-weighted pendulum; a hand-coloured lithograph puppet, with jointed limbs and moving eyes; six hand-coloured lithographic costumes, and two hand-coloured lithographed hats; all contained in the original box, with a hand-coloured label; the titles in French, German, and English. The box is worn and is splitting at the joints; but the figures are remarkable fresh and fine. An extremely rare moveable toy. We have found one other example, sold a few years ago, but that lacked three costume pieces.

London: E. Newbery... John Wallis, 1791. Hand-coloured engraved sheet, cut in to 12 sections and mounted on linen. Original slipcase with mounted engraved label. Slipcase worn, with a split to one side and some loss of paper; two child ownership names on the blank verso; a few light marks, and one small manuscript amendment to the rules; else a very good copy of an early table game. Whitehouse page 25.

No date. [Circa 1900/1910]. Two small wooden jigsaws contained in the original box. Two chromolithographs mounted on wood and cut so as to form jigsaws, contained in the original cardboard box. Each jigsaw is 15 x 11.5 cm. The key sheet for one is mounted as the box lid, the other key sheet is loose with in the box. No publisher or date, but probably of German origin, circa 1900/1910. Stamped shop details of, 'A. Le Cheminant, Commercial Arcade, Guernsey,' to inside of lid and to base of box. Box is a little rubbed at edges; else all is in very good condition.

London: Published 24th December 1794 by John Wallis at his Map Warehouse. A hand-coloured engraved sheet, divided into 16 pieces and mounted on linen. Folding so that It fits into a slipcase. The slipcase bears the label for the later edition of 1802. Slipcase restored; some wear to the joints of the game; some light water-staining; else very good.
