No Imprint; no date, but circa late 1820’s or early 1830’s. 11 pages of text and eleven hand-coloured lithographs, all printed on one side of the leaf only. Original pictorial wrappers. Some uneven fading of the colour from the wrappers; spine expertly restored; else a very good copy. This title was first issued jointly by Tabart and John Harris in 1807, with a title-page which read, The history of Little Red Riding Hood, in verse. Illustrated by engravings In the original publication, as well as title, it had an additional plate as a frontispiece. Mrs. Moon records editions up to 1818, but did not locate this printing. The illustrations in this edition have been redrawn.
