SEA NOISES. This volume was illustrated and produced by Lieut. G. C. Ingleton and was printed by C.P.O. H. L. Boyd in H.M.S. Canberra in Australian waters October,1933. This is no, 133 of 240 copies.
1942. [16] pages. Original printed wrappers. 195 x 125mm. First edition. Spine cracked but firm; entirely unopened. A very good copy of a very scarce copy of a collection of illustrated sea songs. This copy comes from the library of the late Rear Admiral K. McKenzie Urquhart who was a Lieutenant Commander on H.M.A.S. Canberra at the time of its publication. H.M.A.S. Canberra was torpedoed by the Japanese and sunk after the battle of Savo Island in 1942.
