Binding worn and spine cracked; some water-staining in places; occasional marking; else a very good copy of a rare book. Curiously the front endpaper bears the inscription, ‘Mary Brentrall Her Book 1785.’ The New British Jewel supersedes The British Jewel, first published circa 1780, though the work remains essentially the same.
