ANYBODY AT HOME?
London: Chatto and Windus, No date [1939]. [12] leaves, each printed on rectos only, and each bearing a colour illustration with a flap to the top half of the page that can be lifted to advance the story-line. Original pictorial card covers with taped spine, as issued. 250 x 200 mm. First edition. This copy lacks the rarely found, loosely inserted, printed message 'To the Owner of this Book…' Two flaps have old crease marks, though these are not severe or offensive; spine expertly restored; but, altogether, a remarkably good copy of this very scarce title, the frailty of the binding making sure that few copies survive.
