Original quarter morocco over marbled boards, gilt.12mo. First edition. Boards bumped and rubbed at the extremities with a little damage to the corners; spine cracking at the edge with front board coming loose; contemporary name and date in ink on front free endpaper; library stamps to verso of title-page and 'Kent County Library (withdrawn)' label lightly gummed on to front end paste-down; text clean; else a very good copy.Date suggestions from National Art Library, 1830 and British Library 1823. Osbourne: P.200 date is 1833. Frontispiece is dated 1823. On the title-page of this copy is a manuscript note that declares this volume was a gift made on the "14th June 1831".
