Paper on boards rubbed and missing at extremities; back board with paper peeling off and dampstain to lower edge. Some bookworm damage to base of spine and some small dark stains. Endpapers have heavy spotting affecting the title-page. Cracking at inner hinges; yellowing and dampstaining continues throughout the text. The occasional page has been clumsily cut or cropped short and pp 63 to 64 have a tear in the margin affecting the text but with no loss. Name in pencil on front free end-paper and small bookseller's stamp to rear free end-paper. A good plus book.Date from note on title-page; many titles were published at about this time.
