Strained and cracked between frontispiece and title; little marked throughout and some wear to corners else a very good copy of this rare work of adventure which at one point in the story involves a flight in a flying machine. Tipped on to the front endpaper is a clipping from the Observer newspaper, November 15th 1925, which details the publishing history of this work.First published in 1751, and reprinted in 1770, this would appear to be the third edition.
