Stratford-Upon-Avon: At the Shakespeare Head Press, 1928. Number 275 of a limited edition of 325 copies. Original black buckram gilt. 300 x 200 mm. Bookplate. A fine copy. Together with a manuscript work entitled, ‘The Etchings of F. L Griggs. Points for identifying the different states,’ written on the backs of Charing Cross Hotel paper [202 x 127 mm] sometime in the 1920s, the text detailing issue points on some 34 etchings. Authorship unknown, but possibly by Alexander himself. The two works.
