With plates, some folding, and one engraving within the text, as called for, plus three additional plates rarely found with the work, and issued separately: Feversham Abby in Kent; Gateway of Feversham Abby; West front of the Nunnery & Church of Davington. Early marbled paper-covered boards, but sometime rebound in half calf gilt with an earlier red gilt label retained to the spine. Rebound in quarter sheep gilt; red title label, over marbled boards with vellum tips. First edition. Lacks the half-title. A very clean and handsome copy. .
