Spine expertly repaired. A very good clean copy. First published in 1809. Even though this is the seventh edition, all copies are scarce. As with other titles by Mylius, Godwin’s hands are all over this book. Of the extracts from the ‘most approved authors', twenty-nine come from Godwin’s own pseudonymous works for the Juvenile Library.
