Quarto: 25 x 18 cm. Repaired at inner joints; Re-backed, the binding a little worn & rubbed; else very good. This would seem to be a compilation of at least five titles issued by Dean and Son in the U.K in the late 1850's and early 1860's. Whether these were used with Dean's permission or were pirated we cannot say. The majority are titles from a series called 'Dean's sixpenny coloured Picture English Struwelpeters [sic].' These were issued in paper wrappers without a separate title-page. They are rarely found.
