Orme, 1815. 13 circular, hand-coloured aquatint views, each 65mm diameter, with letterpress to the versos, contained within a circular bronze medallion case, with a portrait of, 'Englands Great Captain Arthur Duke of Wellington' to one face, and a depiction of 'Victory' penning the 'record of British Valour,' and the title, 'Picture Medal,' to the other; both with printed paper title labels to the inner faces; the medal contained within the original leather, gilt, felt-lined,circular box. Both brass catches present, but lacking one of the eyes; discs no longer joined as issued; case a little rubbed; else a very good example of this extremely detailed and finely hand-coloured record of Wellington's martial achievements.
