    London: 1846. An unpublished manuscript play written in longhand on 99 leaves, complete; the leaves written on rectos only. Quarto. The work contained in a cloth-backed folder secured with ties. Lacking one tie; inner edge of title-page a little creased; else very good. Christopher Brooke Bradshaw published a play, a comedy, called Shakspere and Company in 1845. It is still in print today.

James was a Journalist and author of 12 British published books. He wrote many articles and journals. and was Executive Secretary of the Society of Authors from June 1887–January 1889, plus 19 century Shelly Club etc. He lived at "Chichele" Penn Hill Ave Parkhurst, Dorset.
