No imprint or date, but circa 1810. An engraved sheet, with the counties coloured in outline, cut without Scotland and without sea, mounted on mahogany and dissected to form a puzzle (jigsaw). Contained in the original mahogany box with a mounted hand-coloured title label. Maximum size of dissection: 460 x 460 mm. Box: 200 x 172 x 68 mm. Dissection missing two small lugs; one small worm-hole; bottom of the box split as is so often the case; else very good. Scarce. Not in Hannas. The title label has probably been cut from the original copy of the engraved map.
