No imprint or date, but believed to issued by George Vajna & Cie., of Budapest, Hungary, circa 1937. Original cloth with string ties secured with decorative stone or ceramic piece. A small handcoloured title etching is mounted on the front panel. 19.8 x 17 cm. Some light browning to the balnk verso of one leaf and to blank borders of another; else an excellent copy of this charming children’s fairy tale set around Lake Balaton in Hungary.
