Twenty advertising cards for Phosphatine Falièrs
Printed by Typogravure Goupil, Paris in Paris, illustrating the fables of La Fontaine, Circa 1910. Each card measures 18.5 x 12.5 cm., is illustrated by L. Chalon with a full-colour lithograph, with the beginning of the text, and on the reverse with an illustration in blue, decoration and the remainder of the text in blue. The cards are in fine condition. These cards, one of many sets issued by this company, promoted the use of phosphates for the health of infants.

Binding a little rubbed with some bumping to the head & heel and slight wear to the corners, but a very good copy of a book normally found in a distressed state.

No date. [Circa 1900/1910]. Two small wooden jigsaws contained in the original box. Two chromolithographs mounted on wood and cut so as to form jigsaws, contained in the original cardboard box. Each jigsaw is 15 x 11.5 cm. The key sheet for one is mounted as the box lid, the other key sheet is loose with in the box. No publisher or date, but probably of German origin, circa 1900/1910. Stamped shop details of, 'A. Le Cheminant, Commercial Arcade, Guernsey,' to inside of lid and to base of box. Box is a little rubbed at edges; else all is in very good condition.
