BARTHOLOMEW'S REVISED HALF-INCH CONTOURED MAPS. For Library Reference.
Edinburgh: John Bartholomew and Son, No date (circa 1963). Library Atlas, containing sheets 1 -36; 38, 39, and 42, plus two sheets showing all of England and Wales. Each sheet is a loose-leaf double-page, full-colour sheet, mounted on linen, measuring 59.5 x 86 cm. The 41 sheets in total bound, as issued, in a loose-leaf binder, with gilt title to upper cover. The Atlas contained in a large wooden box, with a mounted paper label to the upper cover. Box rather worn; atlas fine. The box looks to be earlier than the Atlas. Perhaps, Bartholomew continued to use up earlier boxes when issuing these rarely found Library volumes, perhaps it's a later marriage, we don't know.
