Oblong: 8 x 11.5 cm. Probably the first edition; this copy dated on the front endpaper, 1870. Stitching a little slack; some staining here & there; binding faded on spine and rather rubbed; else a very good copy of a book invariably found in well-loved condition. Authorship not known for sure, but almost certainly by Mrs George Cupples, who also wrote, 'The Story of Miss Dollikins.'
