London: S. Prowett, 1828. [2], 11 [1] pages. Illustrated with twenty-four etchings on india paper, and four woodcuts within the text, by George Cruikshank. Original cloth recently re-backed and re-labelled. First edition. According to Cohn (150) only 11 copies were issued with the illustrations on india paper. Some finger-marking, else a very good copy of this rare issue. The front endpaper bears a mounted postcard from Paul McPharlin, dated 1936, discussing the possible purchase of this copy. McPharlin was the editor of an edition of this title issued by The Limited Editions Club of America in 1937.
