Some wear at head of spine; covers a little dust-soiled; else a very good copy of a work, that the author acknowledges, is loosely based on a similar title issued by Dean and Son in the 1850's. This version differs widely, however, as three of the eight images show images relating to the First World War. The cover states that, 'All the profit from sales of this book will be devoted to the Funds of the Red Cross.' Scarce. COPAC lists only one copy, held by the British Library.
