Original publisher's cloth, title to spine, gilt. 8vo. Spine and edges of boards a little faded. Spine neatly repaired at some time. Outer margins of pages and maps a little dark; very occasional brown spots and pencil notes. Ownership label in the name of 'Derville'l gummed to the front-free endpaper. Presentation copy, inscribed: "T. Briggs Esq with the Author's regards." on the recto of the front free endpaper, and "C.A.Briggs" to the title-page. Maps and plans clean in this very good copy of a scarce book.
