Head-piece. Rebacked modern calf over original sheep with calf corners. Four raised bands to spine, gilt. All edges stained red. 8vo. First editions. Small pieces of an old paper label on front board; and corners a little bumped. A discreet manuscript "D" in ink in an old hand beside "Leipzig" on every title-page. Title and first few pages of "Louise" a little browned, else text clean and crisp throughout. Very good copies.Engraved by Geyser after Oeser.
