All edges sprinkled. The corners and edge of spine have a single blind fillet. 12mo. Vol I: Front and back boards are rubbed and both are detached ; gilt on the spine dull; corners and extremities are bumped with loss of leather to bottom front corner. Text is bright and clean although upper edge of text block is dust-soiled; thin line of staining to corners of the endpapers from the leather. Library label to front end paste-down. Vol II: Binding as for Vol I except that the boards are cracking at inner hinges, but still attached. The rest as for Vol I. First edition.
