Vol I: front hinge split at spine; chip to spine with no loss of leather; stains to upper panel lower corner; small tear to margin of one fold-out with no loss. Vol II: Upper panel cracking at hinges and chips to leather at outer edge; bookplate on front end paste down both volumes; text clean in both volumes; binding in need of restoration.The book plate is of James P Lind. M. D. a known collector of eighteenth century books.
