London.Sampson Low, Son, and Co. 1857. vii, 108, [4 ad's]pp. Illustrated with 8 hand-coloured engraved plates. Original pictorial cloth, gilt. All edges gilt. Octavo. First edition. This is a poor copy: the boards are very rubbed; the spine has been re-backed with original spine laid down; the endpapers have been repaired; a stamp of some sort has been crudely removed from the title; resulting in some loss of letters from the word, 'Gardens;' the frontispiece has a few marks in the border; else a good copy the remaining plates and text clean.
