London: The Toulouse-Lautrec Circle, 1969. 13,[3] pages, followed by eleven facsimile colour lithographs by Mourlet after Toulouse-Lautrec, printed on handmade wove paper and mounted on thick paper, each bearing an embossed stamp and with the pencilled limitation number, followed by three further pages of text, followed by a loosely laid-in extra lithograph by Lautrec, and a certificate of purchase and limitation. Original buckram-backed pictorial paper-covered boards; slipcase, by Zaehnsdorf. Folio. The edition was limited to 1250 copies, of which this is number 862. The extra lithograph is numbered in pencil 666 of 5000. Slipcase little worn and with a large area of staining on one side; binding of book has slight wear at head of spine. Contents fine.Only available to members of The Toulous-Lautrec Circle by subscription. It is thought that neither the book nor the extra print were issued in editions as large as the publishers claim. The series of eleven lithographs known as Elles were originally published in 1896.
