Boards of volume 1 is rather water stained, bumped at corners and has some loss to heed of spine; volume 2 is a trifle rubbed at head of spine with two tiny chips and is lightly bumped at board corners; internally, both volumes are a little browned and have some spotting to plates; ownership inscription to front free endpaper of volume 1 and to front paste-down endpaper of volume 2.
