Slight spotting on endpapers front and rear; author's card mounted on title-page and inscribed; '"Gravestones of Acadie" Compliments of the Author to James McConnell July '31.' On the verso of the title part of the copyright that refers to the United States has been blocked out in indelible pencil - presumably by the author - and this shows through on to the title. A very good copy of the book in a superb binding from the Cockerel bindery.
