It is signed, ‘O Douglas,’ the pseudonym she used for her novels. A very good copy. The memoir is of John Buchan, the father of John Buchan, the author of ‘The Thirty-Nine Steps.’ Helen Buchan is the wife of John Buchan [the elder] and the mother of John Buchan the author. Anna Buchan is John Buchan and Helen Buchan’s daughter, and John Buchan’s sister.
