Folding engraved map of the British Isles by Emanuel Bowen. With thirty-one magnificent wood-engraved figures of sovereigns, most signed JB. Recent binding of quarter calf gilt over marbled boards. 140 x 89 mm. First edition. Some browning at foot of title-page; armorial bookplate of Sir Walter Blount to front pastedown; the map has been strengthened at two folds from the blank verso; else a very good, clean copy.
