Original paper-covered pink boards with shaped labels to both panels. 115 x 80 mm. Spine expertly repaired; else a very good clean copy of volume one [of two] only. The Juvenile, or Child’s Library, was issued in 1800 by John Marshall. It comprised 19 volumes plus a blank Memorandum Book, all housed in a wood box designed to resemble a book-case with glazed doors and drawers below.
