Large woodcut device in verso of title, map of Cantebury; folding engraving of the High Altar in St. Augustine’s Monastery; folding engraving of the Font in Canterbury Cathedral. Contemporary full calf, but with a modern label to the spine. 220 x 170 mm. First edition. Bookplate; small paper flaw in one leaf but without loss of text; the leather of the spine is delaminating in places; couple of margins browned; else a very good copy.
