First edition. Binding rubbed; else a very good copy of this biography of the celebrated Lady Elizabeth Hastings, known as ‘Lady Betty’ (1682-1739). Extremely well known in her lifetime, Hastings was noted for her intelligence, her pious character, and her support of charitable causes.
