A good collection of some 35 chapbook titles issued by James Kendrew of York circa 1830, bound in three volumes. Of the 35 titles, 21 are from the Halfpenny Book series (16 pages.); 13 are from the Penny Book Series (32 pages) and one from the Penny Book series (24 pages.). All are in fine condition and illustrated throughout with woodcuts. All bound with original wrappers as issued.
