DISSECTED TABLES OF ROMAN HISTORY Chronologically Arranged.
London: Published October 12th 1789, by E. Newbery the corner of St. Pauls Ch Yard & J. Wallis No. 16 Ludgate Street of whom may be had Dissected Tables of English History. An engraved sheet depicting medallion portraits of thirty-two rulers of Rome from Romulus to Augustus Caesar, mounted on mahogany and dissected to form a teaching aid. Completed size: 425 x 595 mm. Original mahogany box with mounted pictorial label; and small chart, listing the emperors pasted to the inside of the box. The title on the dissection reads: ‘Chronological Tables of Roman History from the Foundation of the city to the Augustian Age.’ An excellent example with no missing lugs or signs of wear.
