Oldham: Incline Press, 2009. Number 22 from an edition of 200 copies cut in linoleum and wood by Suyeon Kim, and printed on BFK Rives paper, and signed by the artist. 'A Line' is a continuous illustration made of sixteen prints that extends to almost seventeen feet, so accordion folded in a hard cover and slip-case, 10 by 7 inches (25.5 x 18 cm). Illustrated with one full-page and 15 double-page woodcuts printed against a colour tint, then overprinted with lino-cuts and finally, hand-coloured in red and yellow. Graham Moss and Mike Tregear printed, hand coloured and bound the book. The case uses blue book cloth and hand-made Korean paper, captured rather than glued so that the surface ripples on the boards. A loosely inserted prospectus is handset in Joanna. A fine copy.
