LONDON MELODIES; or, Cries of the Seasons. Part II.
London: William Darton, 1812. 48 pages. Illustrated with an engraving on the title, and with 18 wood-engravings within the text, in the style of a engraver identified by Lawrence Darton as the ‘W’ engraver. Original printed wrappers with an engraving to the upper panel. Covers rubbed and worn spine restored; later ownership inscription and date; some marking and general wear; blank paste-downs water-stained; some corners turned. However, a very good copy of a scarce ‘cries.’ See Darton 464A. The attribution to Mary Elliott rests solely on an advert, circa 1830, listing her works and, as such, is not reliable.
