Recent fine binding of full sprinkled calf, gilt with red label to spine. 12mo. First edition in French. Some browning and restoration to the very inner edge of the title; the occasional mark; else a very good copy. Almost certainly translated by Godwin’s second wife Mary Jane Clairmont.
