An edition of only 450 copies. Some water-staining to boards and some wrinkling to pages; strained and cracked at inner joints; spine splitting at heel; else a very good copy of this scarce Struwwelpeter imitation. See Baumgartner Vol. 1 Page 51. Loosely laid-in is Programme of the '100th Penny Reading to be given in the Upper School of Marlborough College on Saturday November 7th 1908.' Item 6 is a 'Reading' by A.de C. Williams. The title of the reading, 'The Monkey's Law,' has been added in pencil, and the observation that it was, 'a badly-read ghost-story, which nobody appreciated.' The programme is badly water-stained.
