Glasgow: J. Lumsden at their Toy Book Manufactory, No date [ circa 1820/25]. 52 pages. Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece of a Peacock; an engraved title with vignette, and six full-page engraved plates, each bearing two engravings. Original plain wrappers. 12.5 x 8cm. Generally tired and worn; covers stained; some browning and marking internally, and juvenile scribble to the front endpapers; lacks rear endpaper. However this title is rare, not located by Roscoe and Brimmell in their bibliography of Lumsden; though two copies are now known: Cotsen Children's Library, and National Library of Scotland.
