Description 83, [1 ad's] pages. Engraved frontispiece, and three plates each bearing eight small engravings. Bound in contemporary plain sheep. 152 x 85 mm. Binding very worn with some surface loss, but sound; lacks front endpaper and pastedowns; ownership inscription, 'Gifford Warriner his book 1722.' Rare. ESTC record two copies only, both in the U.K., and both third editions like this copy. No auctions records back to at least 1975. This is a different, and much rarer book, than Keach's earlier work entitled, Instructions for Children, of which ESTC lists many copies, including an edition published in New York in 1695.
