Description Two Volumes. Volume 1: title, ii, 5 to 288 pp. 4 full-page engraved plates. Volume II: [ii], 5 to 275 pp. 4 full-page engraved plates. Contemporary full sheep with red gilt labels and simple gilt banding. 12mo. First edition thus. Bindings worn at head and heel; spine joints of Volume I cracked, hinges tender, some staining and worm holes on end board; front free endpaper missing in volume I; volume II has some staining to front board; else a very good clean set of a scarce edition.Not in Blakey, The Minerva Press 1790 to 1820. Copac records only three copies, B.L., Oxford, and Glasgow.
