Description A Work intended for the Use of such Ladies, Gentlemen, and Gardeners, as wish to become scientifically acquainted with the Plants they cultivate. Vol. VII. Vol. VIII [bound as one]. Two volumes bound as one. Hardcover. Text and 72 finely hand-coloured full-page engraved plates. Contemporary half calf, gilt over marbled boards; twin labels to the spine. Binding worn and rubbed with loss to head & heel of spine; spine cracking; some foxing throughout, and some water-staining to the outer blank margins of some leaves, but the plates, but for some occasional and very light marking, are clean and fresh.
