Spine repaired at some time with a strip of sheep - now worn; blank margin of one leaf has two small paper repairs; else a very good, clean copy. Kilner family copy with their bookplate to the front pastedown. It is thought this title was first published in 1783 or 1784, so this is an early edition. 'The Adventures of a Pincushion' was extremely popular and 18th century copies are rare. This copy came from a descendant of the family.
