Description Comprising of 65 cards in total; 63 being playing cards; an instruction card; and a 'Key' card. Of the playing cards, 31 are illustrated with smal lengravings. Cards are dealt to players with the possessor of card 102 starting the game by asking the question on that card. The player with the appropriate answer reads it aloud, and carries on the game by asking another question found at the bottom of the same card. The cards are rather eccentrically numbered which can lead to confusion as their completeness; however this is a complete set in excellent condition, housed in a replica slipcase with the original pictorial paper labels to the upper and lower panels; and a modern folding cloth box with matching pink label to the spine. This is the first edition; a second was issued circa 1815. A rare game; Osborne Collection only for the first edition; National History Museum Library for the second edition. See Shefrin G1088(i).
