Description viii, 97, [1 'Directions to the Binder']pp. Tipped-in 'Errata' at end. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece of Lord Wellington, and 8 engraved plates, 2 being large folding panoramic views. Contemporary full calf, gilt. Octavo. First edition thus, but originally published a year earlier in France. There was also an unillustrated edition of this work issued at approximately the same time in Brussels. Binding expertly repaired, but rubbed and showing obvious signs of use; two ownership inscriptions to front fixed endpaper; some slight creasing of panoramic plates; occasional light spotting; else a very good copy of a very scarce work.
